I Could Not Ask for More

Happy 11th to my best half!

When we had been dating for only a couple months...my parents told me I could take a friend on vacation with me that summer. I asked, can it be Aaron? Vacation was still 6 months away, so they were a little hesitant to say yes, considering we had only been dating a short period of time. I told my mom 'matter of factly'..."We'll still be together...he IS the one."

Through all the ups & downs, laughter & tears, I could not have asked for a better man beside me - he is definitely THE one!! Love this man more than I ever knew I could!

4th of July weekend

We spent a few days in KC the last week in June & on our way home, we traded the boys for our oldest niece. We loved having her with us...and so did Zoe!

The catch was, we had to return her...so we did that over 4th of July weekend. We stayed for the weekend & had a lot of fun! The weather was tolerable, so we spent a lot of time outside!

The kids (big & little) played with playdough...

Jumped on the trampoline...

Worked on balance...he would actually walk this thing several feet across the yard.

Celebrated Zoe's birthday a 2nd time...with fancy cupcakes that one of our babysitters made!

Aaron's parents live out in the 'middle of nowhere'...no traffic...very few houses...very peaceful. The good ole country life :)

I know you shouldn't really encourage your children to play in the street...but when you're doing roadwork, it's the obvious spot!
